Asia James, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Asia knew at a very young age that she wanted to go into the medical field. After graduating with her Associate of Science in Nursing from Ivy Tech, Bloomington, she returned to her hometown to work in a high acuity NICU and pediatrics unit, while completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing through Western Governor’s University. Despite her love for her role as a RN, Asia felt guided to pursue her goal of primary care to be at the forefront of medical care.

During graduate school, Asia discovered a passion for functional health. She always identified with a holistic way of practicing that focuses on identifying the root cause to correct symptoms, rather than treating the symptom solely, so functional medicine brought it all together. Asia aims to individualize care, while identifying and amplifying complete wellness for each patient. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University, while completing a clinical and training in functional medicine.

Asia’s motivation for pain management follows her experience with Sickle Cell Anemia. She watched her aunt endure years of pain crises due to this anemia. Yet, she saw her aunt always maintain her faith and keep a smile on her face. In her practice and studies, Asia saw regenerative medicine transform pain in this anemia along with various other conditions, allowing patients to get back to their daily routine quicker and easier.

Asia’s family is her world, and she aims to follow Proverbs 31:10-31. She fell in love with her fiancé in 2013. They’re blessed with two beautiful girls, born in 2018 and 2022. They also have a Yorkie that they rescued as a newborn in 2015. She’s also the oldest of 3, and adores her siblings, parents, and soon-to-be in-laws! Asia enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, traveling, creating house projects (mostly for her fiancé), being a dance mom, and being in nature.

Asia’s goals for her patients are to:

  • Build a trusting relationship through listening and honesty
  • Create an individualized treatment plan that identifies the root source
  • Support and work alongside her patients to address any health conditions

She’s proud to be a part of Integrative Health and work with her patients to create comprehensive treatment plans to achieve overall wellness!

3 John 1:2 “I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul”

Dr. Daniel Miller, D.C.

After suffering for over 9 years with his own chronic pain, Dr. Miller has a special understanding for patients in pain. In 2008 he suffered a severe whiplash injury from a boating accident.  In 2009 the ends of his collar bones had to be surgically removed due to severe pain. In 2014, he had neck fusion surgery, and in 2015 he had multiple abdominal surgeries due to severe abdominal pain from 7 years of taking heavy pain medications.  Finally in 2015 Dr. Miller found the root cause of his chronic pain and became pain free. When modern medicine did not provide the cure, he found the answer through science-based nutrition lab testing that he currently performs in his office.
Although those 9 years of suffering were very difficult, they changed and shaped Dr. Miller’s outlook on life and his approach to patient care and treatment.  Where he once had sympathy for those suffering in pain, he now has compassion.  He believes that a strong doctor-patient relationship exists when the doctor has suffered with similar pain.  His compassion drives his treatment as he attacks a patient’s case, always looking for the root cause of their pain.

Sharon Loeffler

Many of our patients say that the office feels like home and the staff feels like family. Sharon is the main reason for this feeling! She is a Chiropractic Assistant for our office, a retired teacher, and considers her part-time work at the office a joy, a blessing, and even a ministry. Sharon has three married sons, two married stepsons, and twelve grandchildren. Oh! And did we mention that she is Dr. Miller’s mom? No wonder it feels like family in the office!

Besides working behind the desk, Sharon is our in-house “shopper.” She keeps the office supply-shelves stocked, coffee and teabags full, and she has learned to make natural, healthy soap in her spare time, which you can order at the office!
