We are a growing Physical Medicine medical office in Fort Wayne, IN seeking a medical assistant who is organized, able to multi-task, and has excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate is also reliable, and energetic, with great attention-to-detail. This person is friendly, willing to learn, takes initiative, and works well with others. Ideally, this person is also a quick learner, has excellent computer skills, and is kind and compassionate.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist Nurse Practitioner with intraarticular joint injections
Assist Nurse Practitioner with IV hydration therapy
Follow up with patients one day post treatment via phone call
Register Regenerative Medicine Products in database
Clean rooms between patients
Review and explain patient paperwork, consents, financial agreements, etc.
Responsible for the smooth flow of patient traffic in the treatment rooms
Perform other patient therapies (training provided in office)
Front desk responsibilities: answering phones, scheduling patients, checking patients in/out, patient intake, doctor referrals, printing patient statements, filing, opening/closing of office procedures
Explain treatments offered in office: pro-Adjuster, traction, therapies, orthotics, regenerative medicine, trigger point injections, IV Hydration, etc
Explain other services provided
Medical charting and dictating
Medical Massage Therapist
Required Skills / Qualifications
Licensed in Massage Therapy
Deep Tissue Massage

Full Job Description
We are a growing Physical Medicine medical office in Fort Wayne, IN seeking a licensed medical massage therapist who is able to perform manual therapies on patients, discuss problem areas with patients, and consult with providers regarding patient conditions. This person is friendly, empathetic, and skilled in multiple modalities of therapeutic massage.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform manual therapy on patients (muscles, soft tissues, joints) as directed by the providers
Enter SOAP notes in electronic health record system (EHR) after seeing each patient
Confer with patients about their problem areas, stress, and/or pain
Consult with providers regarding patient condition and progress when necessary
Maintain cleanliness of massage room
Change massage table sheets after each patient
Wash/dry/fold all sheets used each day (washer/dryer in facility)
